EDS 224:
Anna Shatzel
Ever since I was little I have been a very imaginative, emotional, and open minded person. This lead me to become very connected with the characters in whatever I was reading, watching, or writing at the time. This side of me reflected a lot in my writing throughout my life. In middle school I began to keep a journal and still have one today which I use to express my emotions and thoughts. This personal style of writing also led to the way I wrote in high school and in college today.
Growing up, my friend's and I would make videos together. Our parents wouldn't let us post them online but we would re-watch them and have tons of laughs. We made videos of pretend singing shows, comedy shows, music videos, and even full movies.
A big part of my childhood was also watching TV shows and movies. Some of the shows I remember watching when I was little were Dora, Franklin, and Little Bear. I also watched a lot of movies because we had every Disney movie you could imagine. Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, and Aladdin were some of the movies I remember watching on repeat.
When I was younger my mother would read me picture books before bed. When I learned to read, I began to read these books on my own. I still have these books to this day and probably read them hundreds of times when I was little. These are just some of the books that were a huge part of my childhood.
